Opportunities at Poets’ Quarterly

A few volunteer positions are open at Poets’ Quarterly. Please feel free to share the following with interested peers:

Managing Editor
Coordinate review copies and assignments; work with publishers to send copies to reviewers; receive & log submissions; coordinate with Web Editor and Editor-in-Chief; send edited reviews to Web Editor for upload; upload edited reviews when Web Editor position is vacant. Position requires approximately 1-2 hours each week with regular management of email and communications and an additional 2-3 days for finalizing each quarterly issue. Must have a working knowledge of yola.com. Applicants should be able to commit to a one-year appointment (4 issues). Web Editor
Responsible for content layout of new issues and archives, working within the design template on PoetsQuarterly.com. Must have a working knowledge of yola.com. Includes adding images and links as necessary. This position coordinates with the Managing Editor to update each new issue with reviews and interviews. Position requires an approx 4-day commitment for each issue. Contributing Editors
Responsible for soliciting and obtaining 3-4 reviews and/or interviews for single issues. Coordinates with Managing Editor. Please submit an email letter of interest citing your enthusiasm for poetry and your review/journal experience: lori@poetsquarterly.com
